Tsaraotana Health Centre after completion
Tsaraotana Health Centre provides essential healthcare services to the local community. Before this project, the health facility faced challenges with access to clean water and adequate healthcare conditions, affecting hygiene and daily medical activities.
A sustainable water solution
A complete solar-powered water system was installed at Tsaraotana Health Centre, providing a reliable supply of clean water for patients and healthcare staff.
Health staff received training in the operation and basic maintenance of the water system, helping to ensure the continued functioning of the installation.
Improving healthcare conditions
In addition to the water system, the health centre was renovated and equipped with essential furniture and cleaning materials.
A new toilet and shower were also constructed to improve hygiene and sanitation conditions for patients and healthcare staff.
Impact
The improved water supply benefits approximately: 2,500 patients and healthcare staff annually by improving access to clean water, strengthening hygiene practices, and supporting better healthcare services.
A lasting impact
Thanks to the support of Wilde Ganzen and our donors, this project is now fully operational and provides a sustainable clean water solution for Tsaraotana.
Through cooperation with local partners and communities, Melbo Foundation continues to improve healthcare conditions and living standards in rural Madagascar.
